GE a corporate sponsor
The Washington Times ^ | 5/11/2009 | Andrew Wilkow and Nick Rizzuto

For all of the carping liberals did for eight years about corporate cronyism in George W. Bush's White House, they seem to turn a blind eye to the same behavior in President Obama's. With plans in place for a major overhaul in the health-care industry, General Electric is positioning itself to become a major beneficiary of these health care reforms.

Recently at the Business and Social Responsibility Conference, General Electric Chief Executive Officer Jeff Immelt referred to America's current economic crisis as part of a "reset" rather than part of an economic cycle, saying, "People who understand that will prosper in the future, and people who don't understand that will get left behind."

One of the problems right now is that many of the large company's 'hired' CEO (i.e. they didn't build the company) are not as much capitalists as they are power hungry.

They will sell out Capitalism if they can increase their power.

So for these “patriots”, it’s only about the money. Screw freedom and traditional values. There’s money to be made jumping in bed with the socialists!

They just want to be “Good Germans”.

For all the crying that the d@mn democrats did about Haliburton, they should all be shouting at Obama for his GE connection.

There was no bidding for these "contracts." Just inside connections between Obama and GE.

The democrats are such worthless @ssholes.

My jaw dropped a bit when GE slipped in a short ad during Glenn Beck radio program today; first day I’ve caught it; GM’s strategy to sporadically advertise on Beck and Hannity, plus ad history going back to capitalist times, I think have kept both off the bailout, at least in my listening time.

I work in medicine, and I got a email from GE a month or two ago excitedly outlining the government money that was going to magically appear.

It made me sick. A once proud, independent and profitable company is going to become a socialist boot licking toady of a company.

I don’t know how I am going to approach this going forward, with billions of printed money going into the medical field to make it dependent on the government, ending up in socialized health care.

I love working in medicine, but I can see the day that won’t be true.

FOX Nation Exclusive! GE CEO Confronted at Shareholder Meeting in Orlando!

GE is Algore’s new Enron.

A couple of weeks ago I heard Bill O’Reilly say that in spite of America’s policy, GE was still doing business with Iran. He said he was going to keep hammering them until they cease and desist. He read letters on the air from people who wrote in to say that they were selling their GE stock and boycotting GE products.

General Electric and Al Gore Scheme to Undermine Domestic Oil Drilling
Townhall.com ^ | July 26, 2008 | Tom Borelli

Enron chairman Kenneth Lay met with President Clinton and Vice President Gore in the Oval Office in 1997, prior to the Kyoto energy conference, according to the Washington Times of Jan. 16. The apparent purpose was for Clinton and Gore to get an agreement from Enron that it would support the draconian regulations and higher costs on the industry that would emerge from the conference, in exchange for government guarantees and taxpayer subsidies. This would expand the government’s power within the industry and guarantee handsome political contributions for the Democrats.

Enron would not disappoint. It became the poster corporation for the junk science of global warming, and supported the industry-killing Kyoto Protocol. Enron probably believed that promised taxpayer payouts would make up for its losses in support of unproductive, but politically correct, energy initiatives. The U.S. Senate, however, recognizing Kyoto’s negative impact on the economy at large, foiled Clinton-Gore plans by voting 95-0 to trash the unfair and inequitable Protocol. The Senate action wouldn’t stop Enron, however, from attempting to become the corporation of choice for the Clinton-Gore globalization agenda. [.....................] More at link here:
