Castonguay posed topless for a Maxim magazine shoot and a few swimsuit calendars before competing in the pageant, but reportedly revealed the pictures to Miss USA officials, who approved them.

As opposed to Miss California Carrie Prejean who lied about their existance, then denied them when questioned about them. Character matters, and when it came time to divulge and tell the truth, Carrie apparently thought that the rules that apply to everyone else, do not apply to her.

Miss Rhode Island's Calendar was published by Maxim. Where were Miss Prejean's photos originally published before being 'discovered'?
