Yeah. The MSM has an agenda. If it destroys our liberty - it's considered breaking news.
“The killers did this because ....”
followed by some condition, problem circumstance which invariably explains nothing because at any given time there are 5 million people with an identical condition, problem or circumstance who do not kill anyone.
“The shooter was upset about losing his job” explains nothing; 11 million other people are upset about losing there jobs also, but don't kill someone.”
Why is the obvious fact that the killer was an evil bad person not sufficient. Why can't people simply say he killed his family because he was an evil scum bag.
In a vast majority of these cases the perpetrator made a conscious decision to do something they absolutely knew to be wrong.

In addition I have no real interest in what the killers biography is, I am not interested in any unfortunate events or difficulties which happened to them prior to the offense. The perpetrators childhood or other life experiences are no more relevant to what should be done to them, than whether a particular rabid dog was a good or bad pet, prior to their contracting rabies. The dog may have been a hero that saved a drowning child, what matters is that they are a danger to other animals and people and must be destroyed.
I can feel really bad for a killer and what happened to them that may have influenced or made them more likely to commit such an evil act, that doesn't mean I wouldn't pull the switch on the electric chair.
