So glad Joan won. She's a rare republican voice in Hollywood.

You idiot. You should never ever ever ever post a spoiler like that in the title of a thread.

Do what you can to correct this before everyone else wakes up, or you are going to be throttled by the other two people watching that show!

No need to watch the end I guess. And who says Joan is a repub? Her blurb about “a new way of doing biz in this country, no more grabbing money” sounded very hooey changey.

I am glad Joan won. But please don’t post results of reality shows in the title. I haven’t watched it yet.

Me too. I did not like that other girl. She was nasty but always covered her tracks so she did not appear to be such a sneak. Good for Joan!!!!!

A little rough on the idiot part. I was one that did not see the finale yet, but am glad that Joan wins. I will still watch next week when we get to see it on Armed Forces Network. If this was the final of American Idol than perhaps I would be pissed...lol.

If this was anything other than a popularity contest then Annie should have won. Joan is the one who spewed hatred throughout the competition, and the charity she selected was one with a history of assisting only those with a politically-correct disease.

Joan, like liberals, appealed exclusively to the heart. Annie appealed to the head. Nations that substitute their hearts for their heads are the ones that end up on the scrap heap of history.

Also, I would point out that Joan used the timeless liberal tactic of denying her opponent the opportunity to speak by talking over Annie constantly.

The fact that any Freeper can overlook these things and side with Joan causes me to wonder if there's any hope at all for the US.

Not rough enough if the thread title survives the night. It's incredibly rude.

I’m surprised to hear that joan could be a Republican. It doesn’t seem to match what I saw of her. Frankly the poker player seems more likely to be conservative.

As far as winning, I would choose Annie over Joan, even though I think Joan is awesome. She’s too tempermental and childish in a sense. Annie is sharp, hungry and wields a seemingly limitless rolodex of friends wolling to help. Hell, she raised an extra 300Gs.

Time for bed :)

Annie is a gambler. She can BS with the best of them. I do not know the charity Joan chose, but I do know that Annie picked a very liberal charity...Refugee International...I believe that they will perform abortions for free. I agree that Joan can be over the top but did a great job for a 75 year old woman. Again just my opinion and from the looks of our differences in opinion, we probably won’t agree. To be fair, I have not watched the episode yet so perhaps next Sunday, I can come back and recant my entire post history on this thread.

yes. I felt similarly. Nice to see someone who speaks their mind and that also has a heart win. Annie is a nasty little thing. Glad to see her go.

Joan is a bit ridiculous which is one of the reasons that Trump picked her. The idea of Mellisa being on the show with her Mother is horrible and I hope never to see that again. To be honest, I wished that Sandra Bullock’s husband had won. I thought it was ridiculous to use her against him on this tv show. He was damned if he did and obviously damned if he didn’t. To be totally honest with you, I wish they would go back to using people we don’t know. I liked it a lot back then. It seemed like the tasks were more professional as well.

Are you talking about AIDS? I guess those straight people who got it from blood transfusions are really politically-correct.

Joan' charity: God's Love We Deliver sounds like a good charity. God's Love We Deliver's mission is to improve the health and well-being of men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS, cancer and other serious illnesses by alleviating hunger and malnutrition. We prepare and deliver nutritious, high-quality meals to people who, because of their illness, are unable to provide or prepare meals for themselves.. Here is their web addy : http://www.godslovewedeliver.org/

At least she is one in Hollywood who acknowledges GOD, and for that I applaud her.

Very disappointed that Annie Duke lost and Joan Rivers won. The lack of any form of professional spirit, tantrums, stalking out - the total epitome of what I usually mock ‘stars’ for being.

I've never seen someone do so many 180’s in my life, going from hating to loving to hating a person so quickly, and so completely. To imagine that the winner of a show dedicated to charity (and reviving stalled B-List careers) to openly declare that it's a joke that this is about charity; it's really sad.

I'll give her props; on the criteria explained, she won the branding - there was no question it was a Kodak party. The more subjective criteria of guest experience, I'd call it a push, and I highly disagree that impersonators equals actual ‘stars.’ Annie, as well, killed it on charity and on fund raising.

I think the wrong Apprentice was chosen this go around, but understand selecting Joan over Annie, to counter the idea that ‘it was all about money’ as was charged so often. To me, Annie Duke won this season as handily as Piers Morgan won the last.

Mission Statement:
“Refugees International (RI) generates lifesaving humanitarian assistance and protection for displaced persons around the world and works to end the conditions that create displacement.”

The key word is “generates”. That means they spend the donations on raising more donations.

A charity for people who run charities.

Oh come on already. You were bound to hear the results somewhere today; at work, on the radio, on TV. It’s your own fault for not immediately putting cotton in your ears and blinders on your eyes this mornning.
