((HUGS))Good morning, everybody.
Just so everybody knows we are dodging storms as I'm typing this message. The last time we had storms in our area our power went out.
Yesterday we had an areawide power outage that wasn't cased by storms. Apparently something blew at a substation and caused power to go out in a numer of communities including ours.
We did get power restored an hour later.
It's in the low 60's with rain and storms this morning.

Good Morning E.G.C. :)
I hope those storms miss you this morning and you don’t lose electricity again. It was so very windy yesterday. Looks like a nice day here today.

We just had a storm move through with quite a wall of lightning. I had to reboot the router but thankfully we didn't lose power.
The storms strech all the way to out in the Texas Panhandle between Amarillo and Lubbock. There's actually a t-storm warning for one of those storms out in that area right now.

Hey -- right now Google is having a contest called "Google Doodle" in which kids were asked to doodle a picture for the Google logo. They have them separated into age groups for voting right now -- and there's one that's AWESOME! In the oldest age group, Grades 10-12, there's one entitled "Time To Go Home" and here's the artist's description:
There are heroes who are willing to make the ultimate sacrifice in order to protect their nations. My wish for the world is for all these military heros to be able to take off their uniforms, lay down their guns, hang up their boots, and come home to their families.
If you're so inclined, it might be worth checking out and voting for! :-)

Good morning and (((HUGS))) EG. I assume you have a generator given the amount of times you are faced with losing power?

Um, no we sure don't.((LOL)) I wish we did but unfortunately that's not the case.
One of my cousins has one though. It sure came to good use yesterday.
Our ISP's DSL deal came with ten hours of dial-up a month. but I sure don't like to use the computer on baterties though.

Nice that you had a productive weekend. Was it dry for a change?
Rain....yeah, we’re getting some of that too. Although, tomorrow’s looking to be dry and 70s.....great walking day....me thinks.
