I have grown to truly hate Letterman.

Leno is a liberal, also. But at least he is a decent human being, polite, reasonably intelligent, and makes some attempt at even handedness.

Agreed regarding Jay Leno. He pokes fun at himself more effectively.
David Letterman is simply grating 100% of the time. He is utterly one-dimensional.

I also find the more liberal someone becomes, the more physically unappealing (if not downright hideous) they become. I haven't watched Letterman for years and years, but the last time I saw a brief clip of his show I couldn't believe how awful he looked. And he didn't have a head start in the looks department to begin with.
