Reformer Palin takes on political machine again
The Tundra Drums ^ | May 7, 2009 | R.A. Mansour

I’ve read a lot lately about how Sarah Palin has “changed” and become “partisan” and is not the Sarah Palin that Alaskans elected in 2006. The critics point to her showdown with the Juneau Democrats over Kim Elton’s Senate seat as proof.

Sarah Palin hasn’t changed, and her showdown with the Juneau Dems is proof that she hasn’t. Her argument with them wasn’t about partisanship, but reform of government.

The whole sordid story began with the Chicago-style payoff of Sen. Elton for his role overseeing “Troopergate.” Elton turned a minor (and ultimately frivolous) ethics investigation into an election year partisan circus. His buddy Hollis French even promised an “October Surprise.” Well, surprise — Elton got a nice reward when Obama appointed him to a cushy job in the Department of the Interior.

But NOT the Anchorage Daily News.

The "Anchorage Daily Worker" is an enemy of conservatives and conservative values. Notice how little coverage there was after the Anchorage mayoral race was won by a conservative in a relative landslide in what had been deemed a close race by them?

The Anchorage Daily News is a McClatchy paper. If there is any way FR can assist in the bankruptcy of that miserable corporation, it should be done.

Ohhhh. Gee, willikers. They must mean THIS "Kim Elton" the "non-partisan", "honest" and "fair" one.

If I may do my best Mark Levin imitation: "SCREW HIM!"

As far as I am concerned, they could tie a rope to his ankle and use him to fish for Killer Whales, except that, being the intelligent creatures they are, there isn't a chance they would even put their mouths on something so filthy and unpalatable.

And SHE is somehow being "Partisan"?

The woman behind the podiun in that pic is Beth Kerttula, the woman the Juneau Dems tried to ram down Palin’s throat.
