Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- Sex and the City star Cynthia Nixon, who plays Miranda on the popular television program and movie, is the latest celebrity to stump for donations for the Planned Parenthood abortion business on Mother's Day. Her letter to Planned Parenthood donors follows one from children's author Judy Blume.
The Blume letter sparked so much national outrage after LifeNews.com exposed it, that Planned Parenthood begged its supporters to send thank you notes to her.
Like the Blume letter, the missive from Nixon ironically urges donations to Planned Parenthood to celebrate Mother's Day even though Planned Parenthood routinely puts women's health at risks with unsafe abortions and spends most of its time doing abortions instead of offering women legitimate prenatal health care services.
"I am Cynthia Nixon. I am an actor, an activist, a mom, a daughter. But today, I am writing to you about motherhood, on behalf of Planned Parenthood and the many people they serve," the actress writes. "The truth is, in my book, there is no organization that supports motherhood more than Planned Parenthood. That's why I'm honoring the moms I know with a gift to Planned Parenthood today."
With Planned Parenthood killing children and injuring women in abortions, Nixon displays an astonishing impudicity when she adds, "To me, it just makes sense: honor the courageous mothers who are raising kids ... with a gift to the courageous organization that helps so many women."
Like Blume, Nixon says the fact that more women are going to Planned Parenthood centers for abortions is another reason to support the organization.
"And right now — with more and more women seeking care from Planned Parenthood affiliate health centers — we need to do all we can to support them," she said.
This isn't the first time Nixon has lent her celebrity name to promote abortion.
Nixon attended a pro-abortion Planned Parenthood event in August 2004 and proceeds from a charity auction consisting of clothing worn by the stars on the set in 2004 benefited the abortion business.
During the series, Nixon's character Miranda considers an abortion. She is determined that she's going to have an abortion and her boyfriend will never know before ultimately deciding to have the baby.
In the waiting room, she has doubts, but finally hears her name called and goes into another room. Eventually, Miranda appears at home and tells Charlotte that she couldn't go through with the abortion and she's going to have the baby.

Whatever your position on abortion is, I don’t see how people can’t realize that connecting it to Mother’s Day is just so wrong.
It’s like Code Pink veteran bashing on Veteran’s Day.
Or maybe something the dingbats can understand, it’s like a CEO asking the workers to take a pay cut so he can double his salary to $50 million a year, and using the modern communist interpretation of May Day to do it.
Those are not Mother’s Day gifts. They are Non Mother’s Day curses.

I’m sorry, but I don’t believe for a moment that gays and lesbians really care about marriage. The only reason that they are pushing it is to shock and tick off conservatives and Christians and create an excuse to throw insults such as bigots, homophobes, haters at them and mock our very precious belief system publicly. They want anything Christian pushed to the point where the only place one can practice is in their own home. They want complete control over children and relegate parental influence to just adults who provide food, shelter and clothing. They want businesses to be forced to serve gay and lesbian weddings and, even though they say they don’t now, eventually they will insist that churches perform gay marriages or risk violence.
That’s exactly right. They don’t even want to be married. They hate marriage and that’s why they want to destroy it. They hate heterosexuals for not being the sick degenerate freaks they themselves are so they want to ruin marriage for the rest of us. They hate beautiful women like Miss California because she likes men and not ugly fat lesbians who wish they could be with her.
She should get a truckload of dead fetus’s.
Since, if I recall, Ms. Nixon is a lesbian, send her a turkey baster for Mothers Day.

I agree with you we have no argument on that point, indeed they are dead children , and I dont wish to shock YOU. but have you ever given any thought to what actually happens to them? Or do you believe they are buried after a respectful and proper ceremony.
These dead children are considered medical waste. in other words —trash. Some are not considered waste, these are used for parts, or in some countries (America?? Who knows?)sold to cosmetic companies for the calogen. Even the ones used for parts are eventually considered waste. They are mostly burned with the rest of the contaminated waste of bloody bandages and contaminated fecal material, and no clergy is in attendence either.Many are just thrown in a dumpster behind the abortion agency.
No conservative freeper can imagine doing this to dead children either, it is a sickening thought that is happening every day.Is it so bad to let this vile woman see the results of her donations to murder? Almost a million times a year ,in the US alone,children are murdered by Doctors who are sworn to do no harm. These poor martyred children are not treated with respect, they are treated as trash or supplied to labs for their grisly experiments.
My suggestion may indeed sound gruesome and you may think me a monster, but I have thought about it, and a truck ride to this stupid womans door is no worse than what these children get now and it could serve the purpose of enlightening one woman, although I doubt she is worth saving.

Before you condemn me or call me an idiot take a few minutes and look around at what is happening to these children now. Is my suggestion any worse? Check it out and see what is being “pulled” by abortion clinics with the aid of our government , your tax dollars,and with Obama’s direct permission and indeed his blessing. Then decide who is the monster here.
While Obama has built an expensive new playground for his children who go to an exclusive private school he sits on the throne of a nation murdering its innocents at the rate of thousands a day, Mostly from black and ignorant white parents he deems unfit to allow their progeny to live.
