That strikes me as non-helpful, at best.
Change minds? This abortion thing has been the carrot that these liberal political bastards have dangled in the face of the people for 36 years, all in the name of the freedom. Yeah fake blood is a little childish, what they need to do is the real thing, and use a 7 month old unborn child as the example, let them see what the procedure is really like. A life moving, stirring and suddenly slaughtered right in front of Barack Obama and his ilk.
Some people need to get wake up calls—they have never seen babies covered with blood.
OTOH——I suspect however that other pro lifers enjoy seeing babies covered in blood.

We don’t seem to be doing all that well at the voting both. That hasn’t been very helpful either.
Agreed. I seriously doubt that particular endeavor would result in changing anyone’s heart for the better (directly, or indirectly via positive press coverage furthering the life agenda).
We seriously need to come to grips with the fact that most in the pro (maternal) choice camp deviate from our views at a core philosophical point - that a fetus is a human being deserving the full legal protections offered to all human beings. Such people will be scarcely more bothered by the sight of ghoulish fetal images (or related) than I am by the sight of a slaughterhouse, roadkill, or the field dressing of game. If that recognition of humanity is widely absent in those whose minds we wish to turn (and I think it is), all shock efforts and similar strategies will only move potential converts further away. Step one is to imbue the fetus with humanity in the eyes of those who now find abortion acceptable.
Why is the baby carriages with blood “non-helpful.” That is showing disgust with Notre Dame’s Administration for inviting an abortion advocate, Obama, to speak at a Catholic college. Catholic doctrine says that doing abortions is breaking God’s law, “Thou shall not kill.” Good for Alan Keyes. He knows we are not meant to live in this world forever but we are meant to live forever with God. Those who cannot or will not obey God’s law will never make it to eternal bliss with Him. Breaking God’s law is not-helpful.

No problem. I have you down as preferring to see the real babies covered in their own blood.
