yeah it’s “got to happen” just so it can be called “total recall”
that’s a really annoying gif btw.
PLEASE, WHERE DO I SIGN!
The Left controls that state. Arnie will know soon what it is like to get 'Bushed' by The Left ('Read My Lips - No New Taxes').
He compromised repeatedly with the Dems and now his 'thank you' is comin'.
I have family in CA whod love to sign this petition!
send them the web site below.......
http://www.recallscalifornia.com/petitions.htm
got it, THANKS
I got dibs on that one. :-)
So, every recall petition on his site is for a Republican and you people are out here promoting his trash?
Nicely done.
The Dems don’t have to worry about Republican strategy when that strategy is little more suicide mixed with a little fratricide for fun...
It's Arnold's office that writes the budget. He has a line-item veto. It's that simple.
Hasta la vista, Taxernator!
I don’t like alot that Arnold has done/ is doing. However, this is a waste of time and resources. Arnold is termed out. What is the real reason for this recall?
You do realized that Arnold is termed out?
Yeah, I thought Cantor was good, too.
But it turns out we were wrong.
Cantor became John Boner’s lead man in pushing the House Republicans to support the bailout. And now he’s joined up with John McCain, Jeb Bush, and Mitt Romney to form the National Council for a New America, to go around the country denouncing Reaganism on a touchy-feely Hillary Clintonesque “listening tour.”
As if trying to imitate Democrats wasn’t already bad enough, they’re imitating the loser.
They might have checked it for grammatical errors. According to our County Clerk the petition reads:
Arnold Schwarzenegger does no longer represent the interest of the people and has betrayed the trust of the voters. Schwarzenegger initiatives on prisons, water and the environment has been a complete disaster. Arnold has beaten us up on automobile related issues like license and registration fees are just the tip of the iceberg. Arnold fails to support legislation to elect the director of corrections by the people and abolish the evil grip the corrupt prison guards union has on society.
According to our County Clerk, it will require a special (expensive) election in 2010 if the petition qualifies.
.....He has a line-item veto.....
got it!! thanks
Won’t happen. Too close to the general election and he’s out then anyway. The recall effort will be smothered by the regular campaign for governor and be thought of as moot by the majority of voters, including this writer.
McClintock douses conservative fire over gubernatorial bid, May 4, 2009
On The Capitol Hour With Eric Hogue today, the excitement over a potential Tom McClintock bid for governor cascaded over the airwaves like splashing whitewater from a heavy Sierra snow melt.
"This could be the positive, perfect storm for the conservatives," Hogue said as he opened his noon-1 p.m. program. He fired up listeners ... suggesting that 4th District Rep. McClintock may indeed contemplate a 2010 run against perceived party moderates Meg Whitman and Steve Poizner.
Hogue said three sources told him that polling for the race is underway on McClintock's behalf.
But then McClintock doused the story.
"I just want to make it very clear that there is absolutely no truth whatsoever to any rumor I am considering running for governor," he said in a phone call to Capitol Alert. "I have not done any polling and I have not wavered from my position that, if nominated, I will not run and, if elected, I will not serve. I don't know how I can make it any plainer or clearer than that."
Pity
