"Folks, you'll just have to watch to see what I'm talking about. This guy Scott Levinson is not only a bigot, but he's a slimeball. He was on Glenn Beck today to defend ACORN and their organization. What unfolded was sheer madness on his part" (by youtube poster 3rdworldinvasion2)
Bump for later
“What unfolded was sheer madness on his part.”
Maybe it’s Mr. Becks skill and courage that brought out the thug in Mr. Levinson.
IMHO
It was an ugly scene. Beck apologized for it today, saying he was ashamed of it. The guy from acorn was just a total tool, but I have to admit, Beck could have handled it better. Nothing good comes from listening to people trying to out shout one another. Only good point from the interaction was Beck asking what, if any, republican Acorn had ever supported. Which the guy came up empty. Acorn, laughably, is supposed to be nonpartisan.
Beck says that on tomorrow’s (Friday’s) show he is going to have two African-Americans who are former board members of ACORN and who will tell of some of the corrupt and deceitful practices of that body they observed firsthand at the highest levels of the organization - I’m bettin’ they don’t appear for the show out of concern for their own safety.......
BTTT for Beck.
I watched this show. It was beyond hilarious. Highly recommended. The mother of all questions from Beck was ‘name one Republican that ACORN has supported’....answer..... crickets
“Beck apologized for it today, saying he was ashamed of it.”
I have never heard of any Liberal apologizing for insulting, deriding, denigrating, villifying, dehumanizing and attempting to destroy anyone who has ever disagreed with them. Mr. Beck did not do any of those things to that fellow, yet he apologized for only asking him difficult questions. If I see Mr. Beck apologinzing for his questioning I will never watch him again. ACORN has received more than three billion dollars in tax money and it is wholly appropriate that they be asked difficult questions.
IMHO
Bump for later.
The two ACORN insiders did show up for Beck’s program (one turned out to be white) - lot’s of explosive stuff, like the fact that even though they’re on the governing council of the organization, they are denied access to the books showing where ACORN’s money comes from and how it’s spent - neither seemed to feel particularly threatened because they were speaking out - Beck had some trouble believing that they weren’t in some physical danger, and his last words on the program were that viewers say a prayer for their safety.......
