End of article:
The nation waits on the edge of its seat, as the chain scrambles to source more bird before Mother's Day (which is shockingly their biggest day of the year).
Well, that's down right weird - KFC's biggest day of the year is Mothers Day? I wonder about Burger King and Taco Bell...

Dad’s way of getting out of cooking for the family...hit KFC...score a bucket...3 sides...bisquits...dessert...pepsi...and then wait for everyone to vomit and have Mom take care of them all.
KFC is nasty.

KFC is nasty.Weirdest looking chicken I've ever seen.
Looks like it's coated in some type of rubberized rotting cardboard.
My neighbor toss down a piece of that for my German Shepherd once...The dog just sniffed it and walked away...

No it’s not. Pepsico got rid of its restaurants in 1997. Completely independent for 12 years.
To: mowowie
I think it’s only part chicken, and the rest is some type of rubbery material or coating.

The stereotype is the “black” Oprah going and doing a deal with a “Fried Chicken” company even if this is a launch of a broiled version. The joke is she is the stereotype.

KFC is nasty. Agreed. I was stuck out on the road one day about lunchtime, and the place where I had planned to stop was closed for some reason. And another one was closed. So I ended up at KFC for the first time in my life.
Good grief, what awful stuff. It's got to be about the worst thing I ever ate in my life. (The worst was when I stopped for dinner in France at a bed and breakfast as a teenager, and was served cow's lungs.)

Well, that's down right weird - KFC's biggest day of the year is Mothers Day? Mom doesn't cook on Mother's Day. Dad or the kids either cook, take her out, or get take-out food.

I agree. KFC is tasting nasty lately. Somehow the original seasoning has been changed and now original recipe chicken tastes too salty and has a soapy taste. And don't tell me that the KFC workers are taking baths in the kitchen sink.

...broiled, not fried?
Ahhh, burned in its own grease, rather than dipped in boiling oil.
Haven’t been to KFC for several years. Three stops at stores in three different states, and at all three we ordered ‘extra crispy’, and had to wring the grease out before we could eat the soggy Kentucky Fried Crap.
Not a crunch in the entire bunch.
The Colonel would have ordered a firing squad.
Once in one one location is a bad outlet. Twice in a row, involving different locations is MAYBE bad luck. Thrice, in three widely scattered locations is corporate policy.
The drumsticks were about the size of a large drummettes, and the breasts about thigh sized, too; all the pieces were small & scrawny.
We haven’t been back since.
Instead, now when traveling and craving chicken, it is Church’s, Popeye’s, a truck stop, or failing all else, a local market’s hot deli.

Thrice, in three widely scattered locations is corporate policy.Nope.
I know of four or five KFC locations in two states whose food is nowhere near as bad as you say.

First Popeye’s, now this. Whole lotta chicken-related unrest happening out there that’s threatening to undermine the very heart of our civilized society.
The Thigh-Laterals, Meat-n-Bones, New Side Orderers, and Chick-Fil-Luminati have been verrr-y busy...
