N. Korea marks month since 'satellite' launch
SEOUL, May 7 (Yonhap) -- North Korea on Thursday reiterated its claim to a successful satellite launch, marking a month of its purported "normal operation" in orbit.
Pyongyang insists its April 5 rocket launch orbited a communications satellite, Kwangmyongsong-2, while outside monitors say no such object has entered space.
The following are the excerpts of more detailed article in Korean:

N. Korea, “Satellite Observation and Control Going Smoothly”
(Pyongyang KCNA = Yonhap News) Chang Yong-hoon = N. Korea’s Space Technical Commission claimed that ‘Kwang Myung Sung II’ entered a normal orbit and “observation and control of the satellite is progressing normally.”

It spokesman said, “Via 470MHz channel we have publicized, it sent the tune of ‘General Kim Il-sung’s Song’ and ‘General Kim Jong-il’s Song and other data. Based on the data as well as data from our tracking facilities, We concluded without a doubt that our satellite had accurately entered the orbit.”

We should fire a dummy warhead into space and say we shot it down, then see how they respond.
Just like in Obama’s “New” America, when you control the organs of propoganda, you can make the sheeple believe ANYTHING.....
I am almost positive that malnourished North Koreans do not care about this.
If you live in a culture that has been built on nothing but lies, do you actually start believing in your own propaganda after a while?
I’ve often wondered just how many in the NK government believe the lies they spread are the truth.
Hell, a press release would be enough...and say we used super secret ground based technology.
I hope locket raunch get UN to send me nasty retter. Perhaps they send Hans Bricks repracement. Sharks getting hungly. That good. I soooo RONEREY!
When the navy finds the remains of the rocket and recovers it from the Pacific Ocean (I hope), we should send it back to NK via Fed Ex with a note.
We found this in the pacific ocean. Call me. We’ll do lunch.

It is believed that Sadaam really thought he had a strong chemical weapons program and stockpile. It is also thought that he believed his military was larger and more advanced than it was. His own people were afraid to tell him the truth.
Is it possible that KJI really believes he can take on the US? Does he really think that “satellite” is in space?
Seeing as how so many Democrats have crossed that line and now fervently believe their own lies, I'd say that it's a good bet that a substantial number of NK government members do the same...
I wonder if this might regular currence with Chia Pet
That is why he got hooked onto Internet. Out there, he can get information unfiltered by his minions. Of course, he also knows that outside world is trying to play game with him, feeding disinfo. So he is paranoid about it, too.
He probably still believe he is lot more powerful than he is. With recent development that his neighbors have become a lot less accommodating, he may now be compelled to believe that he can pull it off again despite suddenly increase odds against it. I mean his desperation could make him believe quite improbable scenario.
Russian Newsweek reported a few weeks ago that N. Korean rocket scientists were criticized for their failure to put the satellite in orbit, according to S. Korean media reports.
I think Chia Head knows that it was a failure in all likelihood. He has access to Internet.
