To the committed left, the Constitution is a cheap whore. They use her frequently for their own ends, and care nothing for what she really is about. Her own will and intentions are to be totally subserviant to their own will and intentions.

For the Left, protections for political speech are not there to protect people critizing left wing idealogy--for they call such "hate speech". Rather for the Left such protections are to protect the tax payer funding of vulgar art which is hateful to those they dislike.

Why should we expect that they treat her with respect now?
