Biden would not be eligible to be seated as President - which many people here overlook.
He was selected by zer0bama as running mate. If zer0 was/is ineligible, then he did/does not have the legal standing to have made ANY choice thereof.
Biden is out. We will not like the next alternative.

Tough to say, since you would have to work your way through an array of Cabinet Secretaries, starting with Mrs. WIlliam J. Rodham-Clinton...
Except, since they are ALL zer0bama’s appointees, and his authority would be vacated...so then ALL of them would be automatically irrelevant - even SecDef Robert Gates, a holdover from the Bush administration.
A new election would be called for - or at least ought to be.
The Demos would almost certainly choose Hillary, as their second leading vote getter from the recorded primaries, and as one whose citizenship is not in question. Who would she choose as a running mate, though? Her husband? LOL!!
The GOP...might have to go McCain/Palin again, since McCain’s legitimacy is not in doubt (though his conservatism and popularity certainly are), but should they?
Would they be legally bound to the results of the 2008 GOP primaries in the event of such an unprecedented turn of circumstances?

Biden won a majority of votes in the Electoral College. That is how he became vice president. The party nominating process is irrelevant as a matter of constitutional law; Obama NEVER had the authority to name Biden or anyone else to the office.
Unless, of course the Dems seeing this coming down the line and remove Pelosi as Speaker. Then they’d probably appoint someone like Barney Frank Speaker. Then we would have President Frank and possibly down the road a first “lady” named Steve. :-)
