It was always preachy.

That was very subdued in the first three seasons. The comedy came first. By the time Radar left, they couldn't force a joke that worked into the show.

Way worse than that, it was brazen "Liberal = GOOD, Conservative = EVIL."

In a waiting room, I had to endure an entire episode a few weeks ago, and had not seen it for twenty-five years at least. Thought I was gonna puke.
