$17 billion is about 1% of his budget deficit. Big fat hairy deal. If he cut it by $700 BILLION, the Obama deficit OF THIS YEAR ALONE would still be larger than the deficits of the past 20 years combined.

What stupidity! He spends trillions and then thinks he should get accolades/praise when he “saves” a mere $17 billion. I believe elected officials only look at the number (”17” in this case) and totally ignore the number of zeroes behind it. So in their perverted minds, $100 million is a lot more than $1 trillion.
