While both excellent questions, I honestly don't know the answer to either, my friend.

I can tell you this for certain, though.
The Jews I knew while growing up would've gone simply ballistic on/at/over any politician who'd said anything --whatsoever-- even remotely threatening and/ or levied threat(s) directed towards the Israeli state.
That was as sure as the sun rising in the east.

Moreover they'd have backed up their words with their wealth, too. The ones I chummed with had enough dough much of it was used to build the nation to what it is, today.
That too I know is a fact.

Oh and their dough was enough to topple --or try damned hard-- even the biggest of mouths who riled 'em too, easily.

Okay, Obama is approaching Anti-Christ status, what the hell is the matter with him. Bibi comes on May 18th I think to the US, I hope he tells Obama to shove it.

I would love to see Netanyahu cancel the trip because he has nothing to say to Obama. When the other side begins negotiation by posturing you walk out and make them come back to you. Right now Obama needs peace a lot more than Israel does. Obama sold himself as the great appeaser, but he has nothing to offer the Arabs of his own. Israel has to give up something, and they have every right to set the demands for what they will get in return. Israel can win a war today. America's economy cannot survive a war in the Persian gulf. I hate to diss my own country but right now the U.S. has a very weak hand, and Netanyahu can either fold or call. I say raise, up the stakes, let Obama know that the adults will be taking charge now. He is petty, but not terribly brave. Go all in and I don't see The One standing on principal. Heck I'm not even sure he has any.

Once Iran gets nukes into mass production Israel's position will become rapidly untenable. MAD only works when the other side wants to live. When the goal of the other side is to commit suicide and destroy the world there is very little you can threaten them with.

If Netanyahu realizes that, and the man is not dumb, then he knows that he is the one who can make demands. Walk out on Obama and make it clear that Israels security comes first, then and only then will they debate about the Palestinians.

The Washington Times reports that Barack Obama may counter demands from Israel to confront Iran over their nuclear program by confronting Israel over theirs.

Pointless. No one loses any sleep at night over Israeli, British, or French nuclear weapons. People do lose sleep at night over the idea of an Iranian nuke. There is a reason for this.
