Who do you suggest victories of the right be attributed to?

A third place finish in a caucus is due to God? And Bush voters (don't remember who else finished ahead of Keyes) oppose God? The man's ego knows no bounds.

If Keyes were more than a self-aggrandizing gasbag he would try to turn his words into action. He’d run for offices he could actually win so he could turn word into deed. Or, barring that, he’d stop making a fool of himself by becoming the modern day Harold Stassen so people would take him seriously. As an author, lecturer and public intellectual he might have genuine impact. But by running for office after office and being humiliated he makes it next to impossible to be taken seriously.

Well, I’d much rather have had Keyes than Bush 8 years ago, so, thank God for his ego also.
