According to an online Yahoo program, the Global Position System coordinates for the White House, probably one of the best-known publicly-owned buildings in the world, are 38.898590 Latitude and -77.035971 Longitude. And since you know that, it's no big deal for the White House to know the coordinates for your front door, is it?

At long last, we have now accounted for at least 140,000 of the 150,000 jobs that Obama promised us... they have been created under ACORN.

The pre-census workers paid a visit to my house Monday afternoon.

The young man with the GPS recorder device gave me — at my request — a copy of the Census’ privacy statement. He also said that they’ve been asked to check out all doors of homes because they don’t want to miss any mother-in-law apartments that may not show up. I’m just forwarding info here.

He talked to me because our address is very weird. The post office says one thing and Consumers Energy, who determines street addresses, says another. Our house is also new and didn’t exist during the last census.

IF anyone shows up and my door I’ll run ‘em off with language so blue they’ll cry like school-children.

Checked doors IN YOUR HOME? That can’t be legal without a warrant.

Usually, a mother-in-law type apartment has its own entrance from outdoors. This is likely what they wish to check for.

Wife and I escorted the census taker off our property. he walked past two No Trespassing signs and a locked gate to get within 250 yards of our home. Our security system picked him up and we called the sheriff.
The snot nosed punk said he was a government employee and didn't have to observe signs.

"GPS coordinates of your front door will make it easier for the government to monitor you," he said.

Yeah, 'cause changing the numbers on the mailbox has fooled 'em every time so far...

I don’t know about that, there aren’t any coons or coon dogs under the porch. Isn’t that a requirement of a redneck home?

I’m a little taken aback at the virulence of the opposition to census taking. What am I missing? Are they asking new questions, or is this because of Obama’s changes to the “reporting structure” for the Census Bureau?

A census worker came to my house last week, I saw the census worker sign in the windshield of his car and decided not to answer the door.

I’m waiting for clarification as to whether or not the Obummer Administration will let Rahm Emmanuel run the census count instead of The Commerce Dept.

If scumbag Emmanuel runs it, I will boycott it!

He also said that they’ve been asked to check out all doors of homes because they don’t want to miss any mother-in-law apartments that may not show up.

As if you can tell which exterior doors lead to separate "mother-in-law apartment" residences. Just one of a number of plausible excuses they've been given to use, most likely.

That’s extremely creepy... Thanks for the report and heads-up on that, Kieri! I am not home much, but I do own and home and live alone. That’s not the kind of info I want this administration to have about me.

On a side note, I have three rescue cats that came equipped with “microchips”. Is it paranoid of me to wonder if the microchips could wind up being used to track me — and not so much my cats? They are strictly indoor cats, so I am considering asking my vet if I can have the chips removed.

I think it hit a breaking point in 2000 with the excessive nosiness of the census. If they kept to just an actual enumeration just about no one would care. But in 2000 Clinton wanted to make guesses, er, uh, "statistical sampling", to get the population count they wanted while the long form kept getting longer and longer. Also, they split a lot of the long form's nosiness into the American Community Survey, by which they can demand information ten years every decade instead of just one.

They’re still under the porch, they just have to run really fast.
