BTW. Obama or someone in his administration had to give the order not to shoot down the Iranian planes. We have been protecting that airspace for almost 20 years and you know our military knew and were told not to pursue.

As far as HolyO goes, I think when this administration comes to an end (and part of me feels like it won’t last the full term before the majority of Americans rise up in protest to his anti-American actions) we are going to find a lot of collusion going on in the background between his puppetmaster, him, and these dictatorial countries he’s so friendly with!
Part of me hopes that the investigation then will be known as “The Specter Commission”, LOL! :-)
Not a real big deal, as far as I can see. Kurdish separatist insurgents launch an attack on Iran from within Iraq; Iran hits them back. I would expect Iran to be able to defend itself from such attacks into its own soil.
That is not to discount all of the myriad reasons that we should still be extremely wary of “making nice” with Iran, however. Their resolve to destroy Israel, their denial of the Holocaust, and their arming of insurgents who attack US troops in Iraq all mean that Iran should remain an enemy, until they genuinely change their ways (which we know they won’t).
It’s just that this particular headline, “Iran launches airstrikes into Iraq,” is alarmist and sensationalist, when in fact the actual story, well, tells a different story.
I hadn’t taken that into consideration (airspace issues). If there’s any question where Obama’s loyalty lies there should be NO QUESTIONS now... (As if people NEED more evidence?). Those within the Iraqi legislature and government need to take note. It pains me to say this, but with Bush as CIC we weren’t “occupying” the area. With Obama friendly to Iraq’s enemies like Iran — then our troops are now being USED, and are not being allowed to do their jobs. What better way to assure that Iraq falls into the hands of her enemies (Iran, Radical Sects, etc...).
Prayers for our troops over there, as always, and prayers for those on the side of truth, Freedom and Justice.
