Its the honorary degree that really bothers me.

Me, too. It is one thing to 'render unto Caesar what is Caesar's, but to honor someone whose stated intent and policy would be in juxtaposition to Catholic belief on abortion (given opportunity to implement it) is a slap in the teeth.

I have written the Bishop who is over our diocese and requested he join other bishops in protest of conferring an honorary degree on Obama, (who really hasn't done squat deserving of honors in the legal system, either).
