Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R), the 2008 vice presidential nominee, will join a new Republican policy group aimed at reshaping and promoting the party brand.
House Minority Whip Eric Cantor (R-Va.)announced Palins decision to join the National Council for a New America on Monday night. The group launched late last week and held its first town hall-style forum on Saturday in Virginia.
Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), the 2008 presidential nominee, indicated during a conference call last week that his former running mate had been invited to join the policy panel. The group, which is made up of prominent Republican leaders, plans to hold town hall meetings across the country over the next few months.
Palins absence from the group had prompted questions about whether she was snubbing it or being left out.
These boots are made for walkin’?
She has more class than the rest of the room put together (well, maybe minus Newt Gingrich)
If she joins any group with Jeb Bush in it, she is toast. It’s bad enough her little slut of a daughter can’t marry the guy she bedded. If mom beds down with the NeoCons, it might as well be an advertisement for a third party.
Is Newt part of this group?
Maybe the rebranding will involve her going around with a red hot (R) branding iron and making an, er, impression on them. Yeehaw Rhinos! But will Obama complain on their behalf that it was torture?
Nobody took those clowns seriously.
They’re going to use her.
I hope she takes charge and overshadows them all.
She got bigger balls than any of those effete R’s.
Maybe she can sear a copy of the Constitution on their foreheads. Or better yet, up their backsides, since that’s where they seem to have their heads most often.
As far as the “s—t” daughter is concerned, you best lay off the bad mouthing. Sarah is not a tyrant and neither is Todd.
Yes—they only want her there so people will show up to their gatherings.
Its bad enough her little slut of a daughter

You’re a perfect person,right?
Look in the mirror before you judge; you gives conservatism a bad name.
Thought I had seen that earlier, but I plead brain fog.
She is gonna live to regret it!
They asked her because they probably got so many complaints..............THEY WANTED SARAH!!
What they have in mind, and what God has in mind to do with her there, may be two quite contrasting things. Or we could be disappointed to see her sink down in the Rhino mud with them. Let’s wait and watch.
I wouldn’t want my daughter marrying an immature, self-centered pinhead like that, either.
I’m sure you’re without sin, so feel free to cast stones. The rest of us keep loving our kids in spite of their poor decisions.
I’m tired of conservatives advocating self-government when they obviously aren’t even close in their own households. Sl*t was too harsh, but she’s a poster child for the welfare state, and for feminism. She should disfellowship the girl until she decides that a father for her child is more important than the $300 grand she got from People magazine.
Her companions aren’t evil. Just globalist morons.
See #35. You would have reproved Christ for telling the adulterous woman to sin no more or for inspiring Matthew 18. This false mercy is what is killing the church and the republic.
I think the internet age has made us so impatient that we don’t await things to take their natural course. Democrats don’t allow this to happen to their groups— which is why they are succeeding.
They’re wrong, but successful. We’re right, but failing. Who wins?
They did get Sarah, and like the folks who stole the ark from the Hebrews, I think they also got more than they imagined!
What “sin” is Sarah responsible for doing “no more” in this picture? Bristol is of age now, if you didn’t notice.
