As far a zero is concerned, the cesspool of accumulated socialists, fascists, two bit dictators and totalitarians known as the UN trumps the constitution.

The Treaty route is troublesome.

A Treaty is the “Supreme Law of the Land” and would over ride all other laws.

Also, the House of Representatives is very pro gun right now, I think.

A Treaty would only need approval in the Senate!

Our Bill of Rights trumps any dumbass international treaty, doesn't it? Doesn't it?

Congratulations "Amerika!" Great job back there in November!

Barama can have all the urges he likes, The senate will never pass this CIFTA crap.

"There are 52 bluedog dems in the house that dont like this crap."

Unfortunately, neither they nor any Republicans in the House have any say in international treaties.

...tell me, when does the oath to defend the Constitution from enimies foreign and domestic kick in?

This treaty, which would allow extradition to other countries of citizens that have never even been to those countries reeks something awful.

"This treaty, which would allow extradition to other countries of citizens that have never even been to those countries reeks something awful."

As does most everything emanating from Washington lately.

Actually, NO!

A treaty trumps anything else, even something expressly stated in the Constitution.

I have always thought that a Treaty with Vatican saying that Life begins at Conception would be cool, lol.

(When we have the votes, of course)

Seems to me that Barama is making a very strong case to the Senate for his own impeachment.

Poor fellow just cant help letting us know what he really thinks.

On the gun issue?

I am not so sure. On that issue I think the House is a bit more conservative than the Senate.

"A Treaty is the “Supreme Law of the Land” and would over ride all other laws"

In theory.

But not always in actual practice.
For example, a couple years ago Mexico was screaming their heads off over the U.S. supposedly violating some treaty that guaranteed some right supposedly violated by Texas in the trial of a murderous Mexican thug we were about to give the needle to.

Fortunately for everyone (well, except for the aforementioned murderous thug), the President at the time, George W. Bush, told Mayheeco that there just didn't seem to be a thing he could do about it.
End of story, and of thug.
