'Hate crimes' law definitions would protect 547 sex 'philias'
The leader of a pro-family organization says families across the nation need to contact their U.S. senators now to try to derail a legislative plan that already has passed the U.S. House and is being awaited by President Obama – after a Democrat confirmed that it would protect "all 547 forms of sexual deviancy or 'paraphilias' listed by the American Psychiatric Association."
WND columnist Janet Porter, who also heads the Faith2Action.org Christian ministry, today cited S. 909, dubbed the "Pedophile Protection Act" as an extreme danger to America.
As H.R. 1913, the House version of the so-called "hate crimes" bill was adopted on a 149-175 vote, but not before several amendments were proposed by Republicans trying to mitigate the impact of the draconian law.

Is this bill seeking to make any distinction between the “philia” desire (a psychological issue, not a crime issue) and the practice (which may be a crime issue depending on the fixation)?
I wonder if the plan is to have it narrowly voted down in the Senate, or to give Obama the opportunity to make a rare veto to please conservatives (and other people with common sense).
Every time we think the Rats cannot go lower, they do. Is it not enough for them to lust after our money, or the control of our churches, but also our kids?
If this becomes law we’ll all have to turn to local neighborhood resources to deal with these pukes ~ and they’ll just disappear from the face of the earth ~ like back in the good old days.

The philias cover an awful wide spectrum of things. Is getting and ogling child porn, or molesting our kids, to be considered on the same level as becoming privately aroused at the sight of, say, a pine tree?
We officially have the Congress from HE11...really. Satan himself couldn’t plan evil as well.
Not even go-go Sweden, with its ballyhooed sex changes, public nudity, free gaay sex, and such, has formally okayed child molestation. Is America now to skip to the end of the shameful list of dirty lands?

As I understand it the bill uses the term “sexual orientation” with a reference to the APA. The APA maintains a list of the different ‘orientations’.
What they are saying is that any orientation will become federally protected. Saying something derogatory about a convicted child rapist will be a hate crime.

This is likely another example of the Democrats not reading a bill. I expect an amendment to be proposed which would take pedophiles out of the list of protected groups. I dare the Democrats to vote against such an amendment. For the record, on Free Speech and Equal Protection grounds, I’m against any “hate crimes” legislation.
If it’s crazy, you can count on it being allow while the dems are in power.
