Q: How many Harvard girls does it take to change a light bulb?
A: It’s Radcliffe, they are women, and it’s not funny!
To: Borges
Critics accused her work of being anti-male, frequently citing a female character in The Womens Room who declares, after her daughter has been raped: All men are rapists, and thats all they are. They rape us with their eyes, their laws, and their codes.

“Whatever they may be in public life, whatever their relationships with men, in their relationships with women, all men are rapists, and that’s all they are. They rape us with their eyes, their laws, and their codes” (p. 433)

Your reply was incredibly insensitive.
I remember hearing some people at a party say they were happy Tony Snow was dead, and from that day forward I told myself that I wouldn’t let any conservative friends get away with that crap.

Good.Ancient history.
She could have believed different things and she'd still be as dead now.
And that's pretty much going to be true for all of us.
I think they meant Radcliffe :-)
Radcliffe was the women's college, but I think the graduate schools were all Harvard.

For some reason, I always thought Pinch was a Mein Shaft afficionado.

What did she have to say about the numerous allegations of rape and sexual harassment against Bill Clinton or the way his staff and wife bitterly attacked the women who dared to step forward?
