Since President Obama has never run so much as a corner store, it's easy to understand why he might just be so confused about how the real business world works. He's never had to meet a payroll. He's never had to do projections, or cost analysis, and certainly has no idea how to help poor people.
Because he keeps doing things to make it more and more difficult for them.
Today he's announcing that he's going to crack down on business taxes, discounting some of the deductions that they are allowed to take.
He calls it closing loopholes. Economists call it lengthening the chance of economic recovery from his worst in a generation recession that he seems insistent upon making last as long as possible.

Yeah but he went to the Ivy League (gasp).
And, he has a law degree. (gasp, gasp).
So he has an Ivy League Law degree.
Among OTHER Ivy Leaguers, infesting Washington, that qualifies him to do ANYTHING.
This isn’t news. He admitted it during the campaign. He said he’d hire people who understood economics on his team to cover his knowledge gaps.
Too bad America didn’t consider it important for the gig.

It’s funny how suppossedly the “smartest people in the room” will trust anyone with an Ivy League degree. Didn’t Bernie Madoff teach them a lesson? A Con Artist with a Harvard Degree is still a CON ARTIST!
He can read anything off a teleprompter.
Thus promoting the idea of who he thinks is in charge and doing a slow shred of the Constitution in the process.

I asked Obama voters if they’d want him to come in and run their companies. They said no, because he doesn’t know anything about their business. BUT THEY GAVE HIM THEIR COUNTRY!

This came by way of email and is funny, but it’s too close to the truth.
Three contractors are bidding to fix a broken fence at the White House. One is from Chicago, another is from Tennessee, and the third is from Minnesota.
All three go with a White House official to examine the fence. The Minnesota contractor takes out a tape measure and does some measuring, then works some figures with a pencil. “Well,” he says, “I figure the
job will run about $900: $400 for materials, $400 for my crew and $100 profit for me.”
The Tennessee contractor also does some measuring and figuring, then says, “I can do this job for $700: $300 for materials, $300 for my crew and $100 profit for me.”
The Chicago contractor doesn’t measure or figure, but leans over to the White House official and whispers, “$2,700.”
The official, incredulous, says, “You didn’t even measure like the other guys! How did you come up with such a high figure?”
The Chicago contractor whispers back, “$1000 for me, $1000 for you, and we hire the guy from Tennessee to fix the fence.”
“Done!” replies the government official.
And that, my friends, is how the new stimulus plan will work.
Obama will tell us that it's Bush's fault.
If everyone is out of work there will be no taxes to collect, and so "loopholes" (tax incentives) will no longer be an issue...

It really is glaring, his ignorance.
I once had a lot of his “idealistic” beliefs. But then I left college, got a job, and learned how the real world worked.
It’s ironic that our freedoms and our economic system end up creating so many cossetted, ignorant individuals who end up wanting to tear it down.
In a rare nationwide coincidence newspapers, editorial boards and columnists are no longer singing the praises of those poor downtrodden community organizers!
What happened to their respect and fanfares for these altrustic individuals?
Or could it have been that they would have praised roller skaters had Obama been a roller skater?
