“The GOP would be wise to look at the implications suggested by the groundswell of grassroots disatisfaction via the Tea Party phenomenon, and the absolutely electrifying political presence inherent in one Sarah Palin.”

The Tea Partly Phenomenon is a steam roller headed for both parties with Sarah Palin in the drivers seat.

The GOP will never see it coming.

The GOP will never see it coming.

The so called party leaders haven't seen anything coming in the past 8 years, why should they start now?

Yep. It’s is a shame that the Republican party (the only reasonable alternative at the moment) is so blind! Oh well, if they do not realize that conservatives have left them in droves (and surely not because they are too far to the left on all issues) then they deserve the wilderness that is coming. If they think that Conservatives will continue to vote for them - they are brain-dead and they (GOP) just do not matter anymore.

I am hoping for either a vibrant third party initiative or at least a Constitutional Convention to change things...
