The Pakistani Taliban, even while continuing their penetration of central Pakistan, have begun mobilizing fresh recruits from all over the country to go help their Afghan Taliban brothers resist the newly arriving Western troops. The Taliban now control the tribal regions of Pakistan, huge sections of the Swat Valley and have just consolidated their control over the district of Buner, just 60 miles from Islamabad...(Snip)
Pakistan was one of only two nations on earth that recognized the Taliban as Afghanistan's legitimate government (the other being Osama's home country of Saudi Arabia)...(Snip)
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton made headlines last weekend during an interview with Fox News. "If the worst, the unthinkable, were to happen, and this advancing Taliban encouraged and supported by al-Qaida and other extremists were to essentially topple the government for failure to beat them back, then they would have the keys to the nuclear arsenal of Pakistan."
{Cut}
The possibility of a nuclear-armed Taliban in Pakistan is a grave threat to global security, but it also poses an unthinkably dangerous threat to America. For years, Congress has dithered over the threat posed to the U.S. homeland by a massive EMP pulse. A nuclear weapon detonated about 180 miles above the U.S. would send out an EMP pulse that would blanket most of the nation with a powerful burst of gamma rays. Depending on where it is detonated, the pulse could cover the entire continent.
(Snip)...No explosion, no noise, no visible destruction. But the heavy voltage surges would burn out the electronics in most vehicles and communications devices. Any electronics equipment (and most electrical equipment of any type) hooked up to the power or phone grids would be immediately destroyed, including all types of computing devices and the data they contain.

I double pumped on the post button. Sorry ‘bout that.
I think that makes you a two pump chump
Clearly nothing to worry about.
BO will calmly promise the Taliban that he is well on his way to destoying America and Western civilization, so there’s no need for them to nuke us.
...might be a good thing...if the taliban got dangerously close to acquiring pak’s nukes. Then we would be forced to do something about it.
I would be scared .... but talk about stupid, Ignorant, Tribal Miscreants. They started a war on borrowed airplanes....they have no Airforce....never start a war without an Air Force (20th Century rules).
By all means.....please assemble Terror Jihadists from all over all into one spot....please.....assemble and get together...please.
Now, smile....watch for the flash !
The prospect of a nuclear Taliban will require a true worldwide effort to stop. Unfortunately, a worldwide effort will require a leader who can pull together various countries who are less than willing to act. The obvious choice for such a leader would usually be the President of the United States, but the current occupant has been spending his time telling the world that the US is nothing special and apologizing for our acting like a superpower in the past. Therefore, even if 0bama is told that he can no longer vote present on the situation, nobody is going to be willing to follow and take the necessary action to prevent the worst from happening.
I just got a mental image of a bunch of these livestock molesters standing around a nuke trying to figure out how to light the fuse.
Double pump or double pull just in case the first one misses the target. Rule to live by.
Problem is the Muslum/Islam elite are letting the goat ropers do the grunt work while they sit back and wait.
India and america combined could handle it. Everyone else just needs to stay out of the way.
Using the bomb for an EMP attack against the US would take considerable technology and scientific know how and in the eyes of the terrorists not have the desired effect of killing lots of people. A more likely scenario would be that the Taliban would give a nuclear weapon to al Quida who would smuggle into the US and detonate it in a major US city.
about thirty five years ago i was in L.A. and there were loads of livestock molesters going to college all over like U.C.L.A, Cal.State Northridge, etc.
Some of these enemies are as schooled as you or I. And some are real extremists.
No doubt they are, or there are certainly enough folks with that knowledge floating around.
I still like the image though.
