I must be missing something here. What did Mitt say that was actually a direct or even indirect knock against Palin and Limbaugh? Please be precise. Thanks,

Leni

After taking a look a the Time List online, I was disgusted at the glowing remarks for “Uncle Ted” Kennedy by our RINO governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Ted Kennedy; a man of great faith and character?! You’ve got to be kidding me!

I think Cantor, Romney, et al should consider the reason Rush Limbaugh and Governor Palin is on this dubious list has nothing to do with being a Republican.

Again, they miss the point.

GOP_Lady: "Go swoon over Palin (and that’s not a knock of Palin)."

You betcha. Sure is easy to do compared to, say, Myth Romney (hater of radio amateurs).

Mr. Romney "Disses" Amateur Radio In Televised Town Meeting

versus

Gov. Sarah Palin, Governor of the state of Alaska, proclaimed the week of July 28 through August 3, 2008 as: Amateur Radio Week

He should run for Senate or Congress and prove his metal.

Romney ran a state - a very liberal state at that - and had to deal with legislatures and budgets. A governor trumps Senators and Congressmen in as far as experience. But I agree that Romney was not any more influential than Huckabee and far less influential than Rush or Palin.

"Romney ran a state - a very liberal state at that - and had to deal with legislatures and budgets."

Romney was a poor Governor. Romney got a "C" rating from CATO. And that was BEFORE
Romney's Socialized medicine and coverup of the BIGdig kicked in. So the RomneyBOTs try to "spin history".
Note also that Romney also betrayed President Bush as Governor
(predicting what TeamROMNEY would do later in Election2008 to Gov. Palin, and then the GOP - i.e. Spoiler Romney-backstabbing),
because Romney was also against the conservative tax cuts. Here are the facts from CATO.

"As U.S. real output grew 13 percent between 2002 and 2006, Massachusetts trailed at 9 percent.
* Manufacturing employment fell 7 percent nationwide those years, but sank 14 percent under Romney, placing Massachusetts 48th among the states.
* Between fall 2003 and autumn 2006, U.S. job growth averaged 5.4 percent, nearly three times Massachusetts' anemic 1.9 percent pace.
* While 8 million Americans over age 16 found work between 2002 and 2006, the number of employed Massachusetts residents actually declined by 8,500 during those years.
"Massachusetts was the only state to have failed to post any gain in its pool of employed residents," professors Sum and McLaughlin concluded.
In an April 2003 meeting with the Massachusetts congressional delegation in Washington, Romney failed to endorse President Bush's $726 billion tax-cut proposal."

Romney, Cantor and Jeb Bush showed up at an event yesterday, to promote their new group, 50-100 people showed up. It was at a pizza joint, so I’m betting they offered free pizza. If Palin had been with them, they would have attracted thousands, and they know that.

When Romney campaigned for Chambliss in GA, he had two rallies the first one drew 100 and the 2nd one drew 200. Palin had 4 rallies ranging in size from 2,000 to 6,000.

They actually need her more than she needs them. Eventually, Palin will have to get at least some of the beltway bandits to support her, but right now, attending the Right to Life, and Down Syndrome events, appearing on American Chopper, and taking part in the March for Babies is far more effective. Build the grassroots support, generate lots of money for SarahPAC, and build an internet support and funding raises apperatus. Even if the elites don’t want her, she’ll be unstoppable.

Sarah Palin brought Americans out in droves for the McCain-Palin ticket. It was not McCain the people wanted, it was Sarah.

That said, we are now facing a hybrid of Malcolm X and Josef Stalin, and if anyone is going to beat Odinga in 2012, it is Sarah.

Romney will NOT get the numbers to defeat Odinga.

Yeah, she would have been one vice president I would have enjoyed watching, with the sound on or off.

I mean we’re stuck with Biden now for crum’s sake. If I could mute the picture but keep the sound I’d do it. Always waiting for that colossal blunder or two that eject from his pie-hole.

You’d think Slick Willard would’ve gotten “Man of the Year” in 2006 or 2007 from Time just for burying the Massachusetts GOP alone.

Is that really Myth Romney? That’s the absolute first photo I’ve seen that shows him with some hairs out of place and without his perpetual bleep-eating grin.

We should be applauding Biden. After all, this is the first ticket in history to win the White House with an African-born Prez candidate and a mentally retarded VP.

Let me take a stab at it before AL......IMO, he is dissing SP because of the clear intimation that Palin was on the list for looks. His whole slimy comment about it maybe being about the most beautiful people...and the false modesty about not being so pretty himself. Give me a break! You know this doofus thinks he's "mister cool".

The guy makes me sick.

You can stop campaigning now, Mitt. McCain kicked your tail last time for Pete’s sake. Sarah will flat-out roll you if you try again. Stop now before your hair gets mussed.

If Myth really wants to be Time’s Man of the Year he should just buy the rag, I’m sure he could pick it up for next to nothing.

You nailed it mick. I gave Romney a pass for the same sort of snarky comment he made about Palin at CPAC (over her not being there and her book deal).

Not anymore. The guy is a gold-plated a_hole.

Try taking another stab. Yours missed the mark.

John King of CNN did the intimating, not Romney. In turn, Romney gave a dig to the slimy Times because certainly their list of "most influential people" is always about the Bad and the Beautiful celebrities, and I agree.

And, if one concludes that Sarah was included by the Time ragazine because she's beautiful, well, then, that part of it is true and Mitt didn't trash anyone, except Time.

BTW, I was one of the original Fredheads on this forum....but it doesn't translate into sliming other Republican leaders, either....except maybe McCain.
