Urge officials to extend E-Verify. On May 21, E-Verify is set to expire. E-Verify is the U.S. government's only effective program against illegal immigration. It is operated by the Department of Homeland Security in partnership with the Social Security Administration and allows employers to electronically verify the employment eligibility of their newly hired employees and the validity of their Social Security Numbers.
This important program is free and has an accuracy rate of 99.6 percent. It is unconscionable that Congress has stripped language from the stimulus bill that would have continued funding for eVerify. Their actions are not in the best interests of their constituents, the American people, but it is in the best interests of special interest groups and illegal aliens.
Obama's stimulus bill will provide about 15 percent or 300,000 construction jobs. Contractors receiving stimulus money need E-Verify to check the status of workers applying for these jobs. Without E-Verify, these jobs could go to illegal aliens. That's a lot of lost income for American citizens who are footing the bill. I do not want to be on the hook for billions of dollars spent putting illegal aliens to work. I urge everyone to contact their senators and congressmen and ask them to save E-Verify.
The 2010 Census (being run out of the WH) intends to count every illegal alien. The numbers are used to apportion the US House---according to population. A state harboring illegals can gain seats as long as the Census Bureau finds and counts them. Also has the potential to alter the regional and philosophical balance of power in Congress.
The Census Director and Commerce Secretary Gary Locke joined with the National Council of La Raza, the League of United Latin American Citizens,and the Ntl Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials to discuss efforts to ensure a full count of Latinos. The director said: “Our goal to count every individual, every resident whether they’re documented, undocumented, whether they are citizens or non-citizens.”
Some Americans observed Hispanics collude to dupe census takers.....inflating their numbers as a way to get more govt freebies and political representation. Giiving false information to the census violates federal and state law.

SS checks to "persecuted Mexican refugees" can amount to $1000 a month and more. Some of them are wealthy people whining about in order to collect. (NOTE The SS "persecution" category was created for the infamous Russian whiners who are given extra-special treatment, job set asides, and all manner of govt freebies. Alejandro Mayorkas picked to head immigration agency

A former top Los Angeles federal prosecutor who was involved in a Clinton-era clemency controversy has been tapped to head an influential Department of Homeland Security immigration agency.
Alejandro Mayorkas is President Obama’s pick to be director of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, which adjudicates a broad range of immigration and naturalization issues and oversees international adoptions, asylum, refugee status and foreign student authorization.
‘Alejandro’s expertise covers a wide array of issues critical to the department, including law enforcement, civil rights, computer crime and international money laundering,’ Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano said in a statement Thursday.
Born in Cuba, Mayorkas was the U.S. attorney for the Central District of California from 1998 to 2001.
Mayorkas also was one of several prominent Southern California political figures who played a role in a 2001 decision by President Clinton to commute a drug dealer’s prison sentence.
