Kasich has good name recognition in Ohio and excellent fiscal credentials. He's the GOP's best bet to beat Strickland.

Wonderful. John has a great reputation for fiscal responsibility and for cutting budgets.

Kasich is also pro-life and was untainted by the pubbie scandals that cost so much in OH a few years back.

Kasich has been all over the state in recent months, and spoke at the Columbus tea party. Good choice for Ohio.

Kasich, a GOP leader at the time, handed Clinton the assault weapons ban on a silver plater and took 42 Republican representatives with him. The bill won by 40 votes (and was opposed by 55 Democrats). John Kasich was responsible for the assault weapons ban, clear and simple. He also voted for Brady.

He's an honest and decent guy. He got out of DC before things went all screwy. He is an original anti-deficit guy, and the Penny-Kasich bill bears his name.

It would be hard to find any reason for even the most anal twits around here not get behind him 100%.

I really like Kasich and before any negative nannies start in, I'll say I may not agree 100% with him, but he is a good guy, speaks well, has the credentials, and he's a stud.

I'll be supporting him....

He's probably OK for local stuff—a disaster in the House - eg. voted for Clinton's bombing of our allies in Serbia.

John just spoke at our Convention on the 24th, just last week, in San Destin.
He was conservative and clear.
He told us he was stopping so much work and filing for govenor shortly.

He was in office from 1983-2001 as a Representative for Ohio.

So, this is it! Goooood!
