Does anybody here really expect to change anything with all this carry-on about shoes? I would imagine the Obamas would be rather pleased to see people so distracted by such a stupid thing.

Oh dear! You've got me! I'll just go out and hang myself. Wait, that'd be too good for me. Let me think... We don't have any fire ant beds Scotland so that's out... I'm all out of drill bits and I haven't seen Jack Bauer lately so no help there.

Wait, I got it. I'll go flog myself to death with dental floss. That ought to keep me busy for a while and I can leave you guys to get on with the serious business of saving the country.
