Of course if you apply “Mittbot Logic” and Huck, McCain etc. WERE LDS members, then they would magically become rock solid conservatives fixtures...

You mean by virtue of necro-baptism, we could all become "Mormon" in some future alternative universe? Is that what LDS "prophet" John Taylor meant when he repeatedly said Mormons would be our "saviors?"

Maybe everybody better hedge their bets & start kow-towing down to these "Mormon saviors" now. (And then again, maybe not).
