A member of the security advance team for President Obama’s recent trip to Mexico is suspected of having contracted the swine flu, a senior White House official says.

I wonder if Keith Ellison was on that delegation. Would a Muslim getting swine flu mean he has to commit suicide because he’s unclean? ;-)
If it’s good enough to close down “official” Washington, it works for me. As far as I’m concerned, there are 537 layoffs we could make in the Executive and Legislative branches of government and things would go much smoother!
This would be interesting since they returned so long ago. I heard the incubation period is about one week. Seems like it could be longer if this is just happening now.
Okay, so incubation is supposed to be 24-48 hours...well if he has the swine flu, I don’t think he contracted it in Mexico. Haven’t they been back in the states for at least a week?

I suspect that people come into contact with Mexicans more than they realize. Most of the restaurants around here employ illegals Hispanics and I suspect a lot, if not most, of them are Mexican. They bus tables as well as prepare food. Think salads which are not cooked. My husband and I have discussed not going out to eat until this is over.
And I came close to having a hangnail. I'll wear my mask next time.
