My dad and sister were simultaneously diagnosed with cancer this Feb. The have started treatments - sister right away (worse), Dad just yesterday (plus he had old clot problems pop up which messed up plans). I’ve been scared what will happen to them, but at least they start on the good side. Likewise me and my mom, as we both suffer from constant GI problems from top to bottom, and makes it very hard to be “happy” much less really help out. We have enough trouble without having to get by without any meds or doctors for long times.

May I ask where do you live? Perhaps you can you contact your reps? senators? I am in IL and our senators are totally worthless—tho I still continue to call them.
Sounds like you have a story to tell! I believe that personalizing stories in letters to politicians and letters to the editor of local newspapers (for the few who still read them) is more effective than quick calls saying we are against a piece of legislation.
