U.S. Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., said Wednesday closing the U.S.-Mexico border should be an option in combatting the H1N1, or swine flu strain that has hit Mexico City hard and shown up in Phoenix, San Diego and New York City.
His comments comes as the World Health Organization raised the threat level that the Mexican swine flu could be become a global flu pandemic.
McCain said U.S authorities are working hard to identify and contain the Mexican swine flu in the U.S. But the Arizona senator also said closing the border should be an option.

Too little too late, Juan. I heard idiocy yesterday that they should close schools when a confirmed case happens. At that point, every student is potentially infected. Shut all schools down for a week or two, and tack that on to summer vacation.

I sadly am still on his email list. I gave the clown money in 2008 during the election because the devil I know was better than a muslim devil.
Anyway he sent be a BS email early this morning with a subject like “I am fighting for you.”
Total crap but I think he is worried about Specter and Chris Simcox primary challenge.
Don’t be suprised if Juan McCain starts acting more conservative between now and 2010.

Ah, so now the Beltway’s getting worried, eh? The Beltway is the most chicken-little part of the US, sadly.

No I think Juan McCain saw how Specter had to bolt because Arlen’s poll numbers were so BAD against Toomey.
Juan Pablo McCain is worried about 2010 already. We need to make sure Senor McCain loses in the primary.

Worried about swine flu or primary challenges in 2010. Specter’s bad poll numbers may be worrying some RINOs.

Aw, Shut up McCain, you are 1/2 of the problem, and Democrats are the other! Slink back into your cave, we don’t want to hear your reelection talk. You are nervous because you read the tea leaves and see that you are in for one good, thorough Simcoxing next year. Tough.
