At his 100th-day town hall meeting in St. Louis, Mo., President Obama took direct aim at the anti-tax “tea party” demonstrations that have cropped up over the last month – and took a veiled shot at FOX News Channel, at the cable news network closely associated with the protests.
Asked about fiscal discipline and entitlements reform, Obama seemed to be repressing a smile as he jabbed critics of his spending plans.
"Those of you who are watching certain news channels on which I'm not very popular, and you see folks waving tea bags around, Obama said, “let me just remind them that I am happy to have a serious conversation about how we are going to cut our health care costs down over the long term, how we are going to stabilize Social Security.”
“But,” Obama continued, “let's not play games and pretend that the reason [for the deficit] is because of the Recovery Act."
It’s the president’s most direct response so far to the protests that flared up in some locations around tax day, on April 15.
In his briefing that day, White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs told reporters: “I don't know if there's a specific response to protests..I think you saw the president today talk about as candidate Obama promising to bring a tax cut to 95 percent of working families in America, and as president delivering that tax cut.”
Happy to have conversations with those who agree with him.

The problem is that the Statists can simply decide to ignore protests and demonstrations and the Lying Statist Media will back them up.
The question is what do we do with that eventuality?
The achiever’s and producers are on the road to indentured servitude to the state.
The Statists know that their power base is built upon wealth seized the from taxPayers at the point of a gun. TaxPayers that are the achievers and producers who make this country work.
W need to look towards work stoppages by the taxPayers to derail this train ride into Statist H*ll.

IMO, this is a pathological narcissistic type of response from BO to legitimate disagreement by US Citizens and this will do much to turn Americans against him. Hang on folks, it will not be pretty when it happens!
He hates the tea partys because we are excercising out 1st amendment rights. He stated during the campaign that what he regrets about the Constitution is that it limits what the government can DO TO people. No Joke. He can’t stand opposition. WAAAHHH what a punk. I hope the tea partys get bigger and bigger just to get under his skin. What I would really like to see is the zero really lose it on live TV. That would be priceless.

As long as zero and the rest of the Statists can pretend to be Santa Claus with money forcibly seized from the producers and achievers, they can remain popular enough to hold onto their power.
The achievers and producers will eventually wind down their efforts as they are punished for the very act of supporting the economy.
But a gradual decline will let the Statists hold onto their power – at least until in all falls apart or WW III starts – whichever comes first.
My only point is that there HAS to be a way of stopping this goes too far.

Now that's a fact and I evidently gave people in this country a little more credit than they merited.
I thought that they would see through the smokescreen the minions in the party and press had built around him sooner than this. I guess his handlers knew a little more than I did.
At this point I would have believed that one would need to be stoned,stupid or evil to not see through this whole staged series of photo-ops and sound bites they call a presidency,but clearly I was wrong. Either there are more stoned,stupid and evil folks around or there are some others who for whatever reason haven't caught on yet.
As a matter of fact,just this morning I noticed they were ramping up the exposure our ubiquitous president is getting. During the question and answer session the camera remained on him (Obama) at all times,the voice of the questioner was heard but no face time. It was truly astounding and I am sure that many people must be noticing,at this point I guess I don't want his handlers to change a thing because I think the stoned and the stupid and the evil,or at least those who really haven't been paying attention may be waking up. If they stop showing him 24/7 they might go back to their slumber.
