You can bet Ronald Reagan Jr is pleased too. Notice he never named any accomplishments.

Pray for America and Our Troops

"I am delighted, overall, with our president’s first 100 days"

I guess the rapid movement to USSA is what chris had in mind.

Buckley fils has a new book out so he’s going to be all over the news. I’ve put this silly twit on permanent ignore.

And Christopher Buckley knows full well that the way for him to get lots of positive press coverage is to come out with another "I like the cut of Obama's jib" statement.

He sells himself, and cheaply.

He says the US is less detested overseas. He’s delusional. Just because they like Obama doesn’t mean they like the US. The reason they like Obama is that he is weakening the US.

This just demonstrates how shallow Buckley’s thinking is.

Obama has met my expectations. I expected a royal screwing and we are getting one.

Anything except admit that you were wrong, Mr. Buckley?

“So when our economy collapses after the deficit is doubled, it will be—my bad! “

Buckley is slurping coke again.

I don’t see how you put something as silly and transitory the perception of America overseas on one side of the scale and the ruination of our national economy on the other side of the scale and have it balance.

If I were to write down the pros and cons of being thrown into a tiger cage, on the “Pro” side, I might list the tiger’s pretty fur, fuzzy ears, and cute pink feet. On the “Con” side, I would list his razor sharp claws and many, many teeth. But just because I have more items on the “Pro” side than the “Con” does not mean I want to be tossed in the cage.

I think the writing has to be intentional because I recently read Growing Up Buckley and it was beautifully written even though perhaps a little too “tell-all” about his parents.

You can get up off your knees now Mr. Buckley.

Buckely is a good writer. I think he is trying to affect a casual voice here, with the intent of excusing the fact that his analysis is shallow. I ain’t buyin’ it...
