I am mystified that there are people posting on this thread that cannot see that this child must have been sick before he came here. Obviously when the flu stories broke the parents brought him here for treatment. Still no word on if they had a visa to “visit”. Very few come across our southern border to “visit” anymore. I read a post where someone asked a question about one of us getting sick if we took a trip somewhere like it just happened to this kid. I am sorry I am not able to remember who it was. I wanted to point out that very seldom do people travel and get sick. The percentages are very low unless they travel to an area that is overwhelmed with contagions. In the last 30 years that I have been traveling, I got sick only once once and in Denver and that was in 1987. Again...VERY SELDOM DO PEOPLE GET SICK WHEN TRAVELING...THEY ARE MORE APT TO BRING THE SICKNESS WITH THEM from where they originate. This child is an example. My condolences but I have my own children to look out for. I don’t need imported illnesses threatening mine or anyone else’s family. ZERO needs to buy a clue with a small portion of the bailout money to learn what “America first” means. He is more comfortable handing this country over to our enemies and I consider Mexico an enemy. God help us all when he and all the traitors in Washington sit back and do nothing. There are other illnesses brought from Mexico, cholera, TB (several different strains). The border needs to be closed. Maybe Gov. Perry will take it upon himself to close the borders with Texas and the fed gov. be damned.

I assume that you have a source for this evidence, or at least some evidence other than your own personal experience.

There isn’t enough information on this boy to determine how and why he came to the US. Outside of the fact that he is from Mexico, he got the flu in Mexico, came to Houston via Brownsville, and died in a Houston hospital. Everything else is just speculation.
