I have a hard time believing that with the current pair of VC-25’S, having been in service since 1990, they have never taken the opportunity of shooting them over lower Manhattan and S.O.L. before now.

Yes, a total waste, especially considering that now they can never use any of the photos. Assuming, of course, that photos were actually taken for this “photo op.”
