Breaking now on FNC
How many passengers were contaminated on that flight..?
Good news, yes. Could be better though. One-hundred other planes from Mexico landed here today.
I live in Orlando. Although I’m concerned about the possible cases here, there is another situation that I’m alarmed about. My assistant has a part-time job in the evenings at a clothing store to earn extra money. One of her co-workers at the store is going to Mexico on vacation this weekend. My assistant and everyone else she works with at the part-time job are begging her not to go. They fear that she might become infected and pass it on to them when she returns to work next week. My assistant is so concerned that she is considering quitting the part-time job. She only has it for extra spending money because she likes to dress well and she also gets free clothes from the job.
I’m not encouraging her one way or the other, but at the same time I’m hoping she does quit because if she gets it, then I’ll probably catch it from her as we use the same phone and are together in a small office all day.
I know that people save up for their vacations and look forward to them, but I think anyone going to Mexico right now is an absolute fool and they are putting themselves and everyone else they come in contact with upon their return at risk. The borders need to be closed!
Hell if I know. I'm busy sealing up my windows with duct tape. ;-)
Seriously, though, I have no idea. It's almost 90 degrees, I've been up on the deck. I just walked in and saw this on FR. I'm sure it's not common knowledge yet anywhere else in the city.
It was fun. We lived there for a couple years (if you know the island, we lived on South Sound.)
You mean Balmer-Warshington
Lets not worry to much about it. Those right wing Vets are the real problem.
I would start contacting any group that is down there monitoring the border and see if there is any different pattern.
Actually its only Mexico City that is in an apparent lockdown and I am sure the military is stopping a lot anywhere else.
A little “reminder” to the House of Representatives on the correct way to vote on the HHS secretary.
BALTIMORE, Md. - FOX 5 has learned that a plane is under quarantine after landing at Baltimore-Washington Airport.
Few details were immediately available, but video from a helicopter over the scene shows an AirTran jet parked on the tarmac outside the airport, and rescue crews surrounding it. There’s no word yet on exactly where the plane flew in from, or why it is quarantined.
Workers on the ground were seen wearing facemasks on approach to the plane.
FOX News is reporting the plane flew in from Mexico.
BNO news online
BreakingNews Fox News is reporting that a plane at BWI airport is quarantined after arriving from Mexico. Ambulances arrived, workers wearing masks.
Its a AirTran Airways flight arriving from Cancun, Mexico; local Fox affiliate says one person on board with possibly flu like symptoms.
That's the first thing I thought when I read the headline. Funny how the view amongst the rulers changes so quickly when the evil bug is about to be disgorged on their doorstep, huh? "Passive" observation is all that's required when it's Texas or California.
Body Weight Index ?
Man this is right out of The Stand. Paging Captain Trips .... Paging Captain Trips.....
Security of our Homeland should require closing the border with Mexico. But Homeland Security has a traitor in charge.
Nah, probably just an allergy to those damned peanuts they serve on the planes.
...I thought BWI was off I95N near Ball’more?
.
yes it’s about 15-20 miles from Camden Yards.
