Because the National Republican Senatorial Committee just endorsed Specter over Toomey a couple of weeks ago.
Specter should have been booted out a long time ago.

As did Bush and company some years back.... Oh and the good Samaritan , compassionate conservatism has come back to BITE US time and again.
Even RUSH was 'deceived' by the Spector scam and gave him free advertising time in the Bush era. NOBODOY seems immune from these scoundrels.
