Desperate old man. Getting his @$$ kicked in the Republican race, so he switches. Just retire you old fool.
Best so far!!!
Exactly he knew he blew it with the Stimulus vote and he realized his political carrer as a Republican is over so he switches sides... How politically expedient of him, screw the people huh arly...
Spector said he surveyed the GOP block and felt he had no chance in winning. WHAT A DAMN JOKE! Isn't this a convenient decision? Guess we are not supposed to FOCUS on Barry's Air Force one *TERROR ATTACK* ON New Yorkers.

When you’re older than dirt, it’s time to leave the Senate, go flyfishing, yell at the grandkids for changing your TV channel, and just chill. Most of the antiquated Senators this applies to now are Dems (including Specter); I’d have the same advice for Ted Stevens, though, if he were still there. I know he was—kind of—liberal on social issues, and was no friend of evangelicals, but it’s astonishing that the same man who fought so heroically for Clarence Thomas (he did vote against Bork, I know) jumped the aisle.
WEll, this means Toomey has more $$ to spend, and the GOP can get behind him.
