That picture is frightening looking at it from the prism of an FR post in the comfort of my computer chair.
It could well have been a hijacked plane chased by a couple of fighter planes getting ready to take out another skyscraper....or get shot down and crash on 42nd Street.
Another dumb move by Odumbo's confused and demoralized underlings.

If you go to the linked ABC article you will see numerous comments by Obamaniacs claiming that NYCers are being "weenies", that they've been duped by George Bush's fake "War on Terror", that this is no big deal, that military folks in Vietnam and Baghdad have seen worse, etc.
And yet these are the same people that claim that a law enforcement car near a polling booth in a black neighborhood effectively intimidates (choose your own number) of black voters thus disenfranchising them. These morons ALWAYS need to have it any way they want. It is correct to "release the torture memos and prosecute those behind them because no one is above the law" but if someone enters the country illegally somehow they ARE above the law.
I have not read one official rationale for this supposed photo-op, what the photo they were trying to create was, why the timing was what it was, etc. but there is no rational reason to defend this and I guarantee you that there were many NYCers that voted for Obama that are re-thinking their vote and contemplating their future vote.
