I’d agree with this... if it was only applied to people who pay nothing for their healthcare and abuse what is given to them by the taxpayer.

that would be the illegals and the low lives that walk into and E.R. and demand service. OH, after an E.R. doc does a complete OB test because the patient complained of stumac pains and he informes her she is not pregaunt, she says “Well good” Dr. says, “Well why did not you take a home pregnancy test?” Patient, “Well it is free here”

In explaining why universal health care wasnt going to increase the deficit, Summers said that people are just getting too much unnecessary care. Summers claimed: whether its tonsillectomies or hysterectomies . . . procedures are done three times as frequently [in some parts of the country than others] and theres no benefit in terms of the health of the population. And by doing the right kind of cost-effectiveness, by making the right kinds of investments and protection, some experts that we estimate that we could take as much as $700 billion a year out of our health care system. The rationing of services begins now.
If they REALLY wanted to address unnecessary costly services, they would prohibit illegal immigration and crack down on people who go to hospital emergency rooms for basic (non-emergency) services and never pay.

How dare you think of your own health, instead of "the health of the population"!

Rationed healthcare for you, but NOT for the More-Equalz-Democrat-Pigz in charge.
THEY are just too important, and too vital, to have THIER healthcare rationed.

longevity has steadily increased over many years, but Obama and his band of cut-throats say it is too high and they will decrease it. They will arbitrarily decide who gets medical attention and who does not.
Now, here is your homework. What other countries already do that?? What country is his unmistakable model??

This sure seems like rationing. . . . .It sure does.
This is a created crises. The Clintons wanted a fascist take over of the health care industry, so they sent out their trial lawyers to destroy it. Now, people cannot afford it because of litigation costs.
There is no health care crises. There's a manufactured legal crises.
Instead of a government take over, we need a cleaning up of the legal system. That way, Americans can still be have their liberty, and our health care system could go back to being the great system it was before the power hungry politicians got involved.
The left wants to take over heath care because the grasshoppers have out numbered the ants (which is why they're trying to take over banks, car companies, manufacturing through environmental litigation, etc.). They need more money for Medicaid and Medicare, but they'll lose elections if they just take it. Instead, they'll "share" the costs across the board. Those who can pay will still pay, and those who can't won't, but all will get equal, substandard Medicare type heath care. The taxpayers will be voluntary slaves once again "for the sake of the collective."
To: richardb72
Soon you won’t be allowed to pay cash for health care.
You know, ‘cause it’s not fair.
Good thing I know doctors. I can trade favors.
