“If you got health insurance, then you can keep it . . . and we won’t do anything about that,” at least that was what President Obama promised during the campaign last year. Well, add that to a very long list of broken campaign promises, including: cutting government spending, reducing the deficit, and “no family making less than $250,000 a year will see any form of tax increase.”
Just as bad, on Friday it was revealed that Obama and the Democrats have no problem pushing through Senate votes on these radical health care changes that strip away normal procedural protections for those who oppose such changes.
Last Sunday on “Meet the Press,” Larry Summers, Obama’s chief economic adviser, let the cat out of the bag on health care. In explaining why universal health care wasn’t going to increase the deficit, Summers said that people are just getting too much unnecessary care. Summers claimed: “whether it’s tonsillectomies or hysterectomies . . . procedures are done three times as frequently [in some parts of the country than others] and there’s no benefit in terms of the health of the population. And by doing the right kind of cost-effectiveness, by making the right kinds of investments and protection, some experts that we — estimate that we could take as much as $700 billion a year out of our health care system.”
This sure seems like rationing. . . . .

This is a created crises. The Clintons wanted a fascist take over of the health care industry, so they sent out their trial lawyers to destroy it. Now, people cannot afford it because of litigation costs.
There is no health care crises. There's a manufactured legal crises.
Instead of a government take over, we need a cleaning up of the legal system. That way, Americans can still be have their liberty, and our health care system could go back to being the great system it was before the power hungry politicians got involved.
The left wants to take over heath care because the grasshoppers have out numbered the ants (which is why they're trying to take over banks, car companies, manufacturing through environmental litigation, etc.). They need more money for Medicaid and Medicare, but they'll lose elections if they just take it. Instead, they'll "share" the costs across the board. Those who can pay will still pay, and those who can't won't, but all will get equal, substandard Medicare type heath care. The taxpayers will be voluntary slaves once again "for the sake of the collective."
Soon you won’t be allowed to pay cash for health care.

When ever the right tried to speak up and save the life of an unborn child (an innocent person), we heard the left say "We have the right to our own bodies. Government should stay out of our uterus's!"
Now, the government wants total, absolute control over every organ in everyone elses body - and the left is all for it.
It's not about the right to their bodies, obviously. It's about being pro-death. Next they'll go after the elderly as "useless eaters", and government control could actually mandate it. It's all about the lefts lust for innocent blood. It has nothing to do with liberty.

Today, the grasshoppers have out numbered the ants. Without grasshoppers, the socialists lose elections. The grasshoppers must be fed, so the democrats are going to take over every American business they can while they can, because an obvious tax increase is out of the question. The tax slaves will rebel. If they can take total control of Americas financial, health, food, and manufacturing systems, the can take all they want and no one could stop them. Everything would be equally shared ...... except the labor.
Yes, on many tests, referrals, etc. I am not one to go to the doctor for much of anything other than routine exams (luckily pretty healthy!), but saw one in February for a minor infection in my finger. Got some antibiotics. He was ready to do an Xray, do blood tests, send me to orthopedic specialist, etc., if I wanted to have it checked further. Many people would have taken up on the referrals.
