At the White House meeting Cantor was the last of the Republican leaders to arrive Obama brought up the letter and noted that not a single House Republican had backed his economic stimulus bill. According to a firsthand account of the meeting, Cantor took exception: With all due respect, Mr. President, we offered you ideas on the stimulus plan directly, and they were ignored completely.
Cantor suggested that if he were to view the stimulus negotiations through a partisan lens, he would argue Democrats started the party of no name-calling about the same time that Obama was meeting with House Republicans to discuss the stimulus plan.

Interesting, I can’t help but think if pres. Bush had held a similar meeting with Democrats back in the early 2000’s, things might have turned out differently. Pres. Bush caved on many things when he should have stood firm...tell the Dems, either you are part of the process or not...but I am the President...and will ultimately decide.
Nothing new here, just like the stimulus plan, Zero will ignore the Republican's suggestions.
Pick the Target. Freeze it. Personalize it. and Polarize it
Further Repbulicans are “picking at a scab” when they object to Obama’s view of bipartisan.
Well I say that the real problem is when Obama gets a simple jab he is so thin skinned that a scab forms and underneath is a festering abscess so I hope Canter will keep picking at Obama’s scabs and exposing the puss that is behind them.
He wasn’t the decider until what 2005 2006? Until then it was the new tone
He doesn’t take criticism well. Look back at how he went after MoDo when she wrote about his ears. He’s a light weight, consumed on image. That’s why that celebutard ad really pissed him off.
Any military person knows how to translate “with all due respect...”: No respect intended and none to be implied. Good for you, Mr. Cantor!
“Obama acknowledged that, in recent weeks, he has received tea bags from Americans upset by the governments decision to spend trillions of dollars shoring up the economy”
KEEP SENDING THEM FOLKS!!
“You can expect us to have something very soon, Cantor said, explaining that hes looking for wherever there is waste or duplicative spending.”
How about taking some initiative, “Republicans”.
Why didn't Cantor come to the meeting with a list?
“Republicans” need to be told what to do? Our “Republicans” are not action oriented. If they have principles, they sure as hell don't demonstrate them.
If the Republicans were smart (sigh, I know) they'd use that against him. It does not take much prompting (tele-prompting?) to get under Obama's skin. Just bait the trap and spring it. Lather, rinse. repeat - until he's chasing his tail full time rather than exploring new ways to crush our economic freedom. Alinsky's tactics don't just work for leftists, you know. One can be a political guerrilla and still bathe and wear clean underwear.
Also from Politico, a few days ago:
“House Minority Whip Eric Cantor (R-Va.) said ahead of a meeting at the White House Thursday that Obama and Republicans on Capitol Hill have gotten off on the wrong foot.
“The first 100 days have not been the best days for bipartisanship,” Cantor said during an interview on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.”
“We’ve got some very serious issues, and I do think now that we can come together,” he said. “We can do better.”
WILL THE REAL ERIC CANTOR PLEASE STAND UP??!?
Straight out of the democrat's playbook.
No Wagyu beef for you!
Why does Zero keep doing that?
Sounds like a guy who is INSECURE and supporting an over-sized ego.
We have a politician in our county with such a mindset, it is almost palpable: let's everyone get together on this, when it is my opinion or agenda, other alternatives are not considered.
It is to the point that we really don't think that person can actually understand, intellectually, anything other than his own internal world. When one thinks about it this is really a criminal pathology, for instance when one walks into a mom and pop laundry, sticks a gun at the owner's head and demands the cash register, that one is hardly considering the work the owners have accomplished, their children at home, etc.etc.
In the technical realm one of the sad states of the United States is that genuine science or engineering requires one to be trained, open, and objective about all possibilities, but that investment has plummeted here.
Lawyers on the other hand, especially criminal lawyers, are trained to be bigots. That is what they get paid for, and is what they convince themselves to pursue in every case. They might say they want the "truth," but rather operate to win the "game" despite the truth. The United States of course has far more lawyers per capita than ANY other nation. And drastically decreasing engineers.
This is a deep psychopathology crossing all recorded history. The great modern elucidation is Jayne's The Origin of Consciousness in the Breakdown of the Bicameral Mind, but many many classics reveal the same struggle.
Just observe Rahm Emmanuel, or BHO himself, for a few sessions, and it will become apparent. You can also include most Harvard products.

In addition, I think that Obama has an inaccurate view of the Presidency...which is the result of not having studied American history.
He seems to see the Presidency as giving him greater authority than it actually does. His view of the Presidency seems somehow psychological intertwined with his own (malignant) narcissism such that, in his case, he is the King and not merely an elected official.
I think he might even have a distorted idea of how much power actual kings had in history. As any student of history knows, most kings held tenuous and fluctuating power over the various fiefdoms within their realm. If Obama had studied history instead of Alinsky, he would know that.
Any help would be much appreciated.
