The girls voice in the videotape is tiny and tentative. She is talking to a nursing aide in a Planned Parenthood clinic in Bloomington, Ind. The girl wants an abortion.
The aide explains that the girl will need a parents consent because she is only 13.
The girl balks; she does not want to name the father.
Cause, I mean, he would be in really big trouble, says the girl. Her boyfriend, she explains, is 31.
The aide drops her head into her hands.
In the state of Indiana, says the aide, when anyone has had intercourse and they are age 13 or younger ... it has to be reported to Child Protective Services.
There is a 60-second gap in the tape, according to the running timer on the video. What happens next is meant to be explosive.
OK, says the aide, I didnt hear the age. I dont want to know the age. It could be reported as rape. And thats child abuse.
So if I just say I dont know who the father was, but hes one of the guys at school or something? asks the girl.
Right, says the aide, who has just stepped into a carefully laid trap.
As it happens, the boyfriend does not exist. The girl is not pregnant. Nor is she 13.

Zing!
“Killing abortion doctors and bombing clinics lowers us to their level. Exposing them for the cult of death that they are is a positive thing.”
I like your logic. I guess when we bombed Germany into submission twice, we ‘lowered ourselves’ to their level? Man, I feel so dirty. I’m going to go spit on my Grandfather’s grave, the same one who shot down five Jap planes as an AA gunner on a USN destroyer. Or maybe on my step-dad’s grave, who drove a LST on D-Day.
How about Japan? We got medieval with those bastards...but I don’t remember any GI’s beheading any Jap prisoners. Well, I guess we were ‘at their level’ because we chose to fight instead of submit.
Think how superior we would feel if we had instead just been conquered. Fighting is so icky. Let the fetus who doesn’t want to be killed defend himself.
Do I need the /sarc tag? Or is it heavy enough?
This is such a great line of thought that I just have to go further with it.
How about the death camps? Did killing the operators of the camps make us morally inferior? I mean, we had to stoop to their level(killing) to stop the killing. Man, what a muddled mess it must be in your head.
I can only imagine what you feel when we stoop to the level of the convicted murderer by, well, (righteously) murdering him. Better that he be free to kill the innocent than for us to punish the guilty.
Girls go to licensed abortion clinics and die from hemorrhaging at home sometimes. Just because abortion is legal now doesn't meant that they don't still botch abortions.
Where does the LAtte Times get the chutzpah to allege that there is ANY excuse for the criminal actions of Planned Parenthood?
Planned Parenthood is pro-rape and it is an ugly truth that the Left does not like exposed. Rape = money. There exists a culture of corruption among abortionists.
Do you feel the same about law enforcement agents who pose as minors in online chat?
"Mistakes were made."
Notice that the LA Times is giving Planned Parenthood abortuaries a fairer shake than they gave the US military over Abu Ghraib prison.
Wrong. Just like undercover traps must be used to catch and convict many types of criminals, this type of undercover work is needed to expose PP not to others who know what PP does but to the ignorant masses out there who think this insidious organization is actually doing good.
Unfortunately abortion is legal in the US. The killing of a convicted murderer is not murder it is execution which is the carrying out of justice. We are a nation of laws and one of the main problems is that the courts are trying to legislate from the bench. The Supreme Court should have no say in whether or not a state allows abortion.
As for the nazi death camps that is entirely different because it was a real war not like the “war on drugs” or “war on poverty” or the other various “wars” our government claims to be fighting.
The Supreme Court should have a say in whether or not a state allows abortion. It snuffs out a human life. It is a civil rights issue.
