It looks like Arcata and Eureka are trying to outdo Bezerkley.

Any resistance to the federal govt from any corner now is useful.

I’m all for localities fighting the Federal Government. However, in my locality, I’d hope it would be on the order of secession. The time has come to part ways with Uncle Sam.

I like putting up signs on the roads coming in “Welcome to Traitorville, and Cowardistan.”

The security of our nation is the primary responsibility of our government thus the necessity for the military. I agree that fighting the feds in areas where they infringe on states rights is the thing to do but not when it comes to the armed forces.

Eventually, Obama will use the military to enforce his socialist, despotic policies. He will violate the PC act under the guise of national emergency and deploy them against us. Will you then say the same thing? If so, then you might as well vote for him in 2012.

They support allowing 17yo to make informed decisions to get birth control without parental knowledge or consent, but then turn around and say that 17yo kids must be protected from talking to military recruiters.
Lying scum in framing this as an anti-government issue.

Very good point and dead on the mark. Leftists only want 17 yo to make decisions they think are appropriate for meeting their agenda.

I wonder if they feel the same way about Mr. Zer0’s civilian brown shirts, he’s now recruiting?

In neighboring Siskiyou County, we welcome veterans. In fact, we are preapring a large sign at the extrances to the county on I-5 to say so.

I’m sure his followers who realize the significance of his brown shirts do not object but there’s many who probably don’t realize his intent.

That’s good to hear, it’s a beautiful County. I lived in Jackson County, OR for quite some time, we were neighbors.

It shames me to admit that Eureka is my home town. Beautiful place but it's neighbor, Arcata, home of Humboldt University, is a cancer that is spreading over into Eureka.

It’s a shame the moonbats seem to be becoming the majority, Eureka is beautiful. The first time we visited Eureka was a year or so after the tidal wave from the Alaska earthquake hit and I remember the signs in various places showing the high water marks. If I remember correctly it destroyed much around the waterfront.

Arcata is a cesspool of Marxist. They have a sister city relationship with a town down in Nicorwawa. Eureka is one council vote away from the same BS...
